Controls Engineer - The Role:
- Work on control system projects either independently or as part of a team
- Handle the entire lifecycle of the project, from design documentation to commissioning and handover
- Develop Functional Design Specification and PLC, HMI, SCADA software
- Coordinate with SI and LV engineering delivery teams and client stakeholders
- Act as a lead on small projects, working closely with the Project Manager to meet project milestones
Controls Engineer - The Person:
- Have a minimum of 3 years systems engineering experience
- Have strong knowledge of safe working practices with regards to work on or near electrical equipment
- Have good organisational and communication skills
- Be positive, approachable, willing, helpful and a good team player
- Have experience in PLC and HMI software development using devices from Rockwell Automation, Siemens, Mitsubishi or Schneider
- Hold a full UK driving licence
